Switch models with a PoE attachment have an internal PoE power supply. This technology allows to reduce the costs of installing additional equipment, providing data transmission and power supply via existing Ethernet cables (category 5E). The model range is represented by various models of devices carrying from 4 to 24 PoE ports, which supply from 15.4 W to 25.5 W (PoE+) per port for devices such as wireless access points, VoIP telephony systems, IP video cameras.
