New from QTECH: QWP-82 Indoor Access Point

QTECH continues to develop its line of standalone high performance indoor access points. The new QWP-82 model works on the advanced Wi-Fi 6 technology with support for the 802.11ax standard in operator's managed Wi-Fi networks with high quality information traffic and increased bandwidth.

The novelty is developed on the basis of the Mediatek chipset with increased performance. It supports a total maximum speed of 1800 Mbps in dual-band operating mode: 600 Mbps at 2.4 GHz plus 1200 Mbps at 5 GHz. A software release is being prepared that will allow the access point to work under the QTECH controller.

The circular radiation pattern is formed by four built-in 2x2 DL / UL MU-MIMO omnidirectional antennas providing 4 dBi gain. High-strength non-combustible plastic is used for the manufacture of the transceiver housing. The access point comes with a ceiling and wall mount for mounting.

The main parameters of the equipment:

• two radio modules operating simultaneously in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands;
• the latest chipset MT7621DAT + MT7915N + MT7975DN;
• remote power supply via network cable (Power over Ethernet IEEE 802.3at 48V);
• up to 4 extended sets of ESSIDs for each transceiver in accordance with 802.1Q for VLANs;
• operating modes - AP, Gateway;
• management - WEB;
• modulation: OFDM = BPSK, QPSK, 16-QAM, 64-QAM, 128-QAM, 256-QAM, 1024-QAM; DSSS = DBPSK, DQPSK, CCK;
• 10/100 / 1000BASE-T ports (LAN, WAN);
• channel width - 20/40/80 MHz;
• network protocols - IPv4, VLAN, NTP;
• hidden SSID support;
• memory - 256 MB RAM + 32 MB;
• built-in spectrum analyzer;
• over 120 concurrent user connections;
• operating temperature range - from –20 ° C to + 45 ° C;
• permissible humidity - 95% (non-condensing).
