New models of QTECH access points

QTECH presents new models of high-performance access points: QWO-420E, QWO-820E, QWO-880, QWO-880E.

The new equipment can be used outdoors (t= -40°C ~ +70°C) thanks to the high quality enclosures made of aluminum alloy and high quality plastic (QWO-880) which provide IP67 protection. At the request of the customer for the models QWO-420E, QWO-820E and QWO-880E, options are provided in cases with IP65 protection.

The new access points comply with the IEEE standards for 802.11ac wave2 (QWO-420E) and 802.11ax (QWO-820E, QWO-880, QWO-880E) wireless LANs. Moreover, the models have the following differences:

  • QWO-420E is equipped with a Qualcomm chipset supporting 2x2 MU-MIMO and a maximum speed of 1200 Mbps (300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 900 Mbps at 5 GHz);
  • QWO-820E is equipped with Mediatek chipset supporting 2×2 DL/UL-MIMO and maximum speed of 1800 Mbps (600 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 1200 Mbps at 5 GHz);
  • QWO-880 and QWO-880E are powered by Qualcomm chipset with 4×4 DL/UL-MIMO support and maximum speed of 3657 Mbps (1182 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 2475 Mbps at 5 GHz).

To ensure the reception and transmission of Wi-Fi signals, the QWO-420E, QWO-820E, QWO-880E models are provided with 4 N-type connectors (female) for connecting external antennas. The QWO-880 access point is equipped with built-in omnidirectional antennas with a gain of 6 dBi.

All devices support an extended set of ESSID identification services, and in the QWO-420E model - up to 8 for 2.4 GHz, up to 16 for 5 GHz, in all others - up to 8 in each transceiver (16 in total).

The presented access points have the following parameters:

  • simultaneous operation in two bands 2.4 and 5 GHz;
  • Possibility of power supply via Ethernet 802.3at (PoE+);
  • centralized control via QTECH controller or autonomous operation (QWO-420E, QWO-880, QWO-880E).
