New product from QTECH: internal access point

QTECH presents a new product-an internal access point QWP-420-AC-VC, simultaneously operating in two bands. The new equipment is equipped with two 2x2 MIMO transceivers with data transfer speeds up to 300 and 900 Mbit / s in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. The device is designed for installation in places with a high density of users: offices, universities, hotels, hospitals, airports and train stations.
The QWP-420-AC-VC operates in the 802.11 ac wave 2 standard and supports MU-MIMO (Multi User MIMO) technology, which allows you to create up to 4 simultaneous connections for multiple users. This solution helps to optimize the operation of a Wi-Fi network with heavy traffic or a large number of subscribers (over 256 subscriber devices).
Sharing with a QTECH Wi-Fi controller provides additional capabilities for bandwidth management, user authentication and billing, centralized management of virtual LAN (VLAN), and many others.
Basic parameters:
- total bandwidth up to 1200 Mbit / s;
- remote power supply of Ethernet 802.3 af (PoE) via a network cable;
- autonomous/centralized control function via the QTECH controller;
- up to 8 extended sets of ESSID identification services for each transceiver in accordance with 802.1 Q for virtual LAN;
- configurable security policy;
- built-in enterprise-level security features;
- ceiling or wall mounting.
Differences from the previous model QWP-320-AC-VC:
- support for Wave 2 technology;
- 128-QAM, 256-QAM modulation;
- The output power is 500 MW at 5 Ghz, up to 1 watt at 2.4 Ghz.
